I have no idea other the the idealology of differentiating away from names sounding like cars with combustion engines?♂️
Some are weirder than others like the id range, where as Enyak is more infitting with Skoda’s SUV line up – Kodiaq for example. Where BYD invokes a kind of calmness with its creatures of the sea names that just make’s want to build your dreamd together.
VW on the otherhand after getting off to a bad start are rowing back with the numericals and are now gowing with names like the id GTI, where id stands for Intelligent design, identity and visionary technologies. Pull the other one even, Skoda in the lower pecking order has pulled a blinder over VW id marque’s.
After all that I still haven’t a bloody clue to why!
Heres a question, why are some EV’s so bland inside and why can’t they make them look like a normal car interior, rather than a big box, little box theme. An id5 interior that looked like a tiggy would surely be benificial, afterall Audi seem to have got it right!
