I keep the cards in the car, rather than my wallet. I have a few cards kept in a steel rfid wallet.
Chargeplace Scotland, Octopus Electroverse, Shell Recharge, Kia Charge, BP Pulse come to mind, although I’ve only ever used the Chargeplace Scotland and Electroverse cards on my long trips (done several this year, inc. a 340 mile trip from Liverpool to NE Scotland on Friday). Most places take contactless payment (done via apple/google pay to avoid the £100 card pre-authorisation).
