Hyundai/Kia have never allowed the Tech Pack on lower models across the range. More interesting is Kia often include the Tech Pack on their top trims.
It wasn’t many years ago Hyundai included the Heatpump as standard on the Kona but, eventually made it a cost option, jumping on the bandwagon with most European manufacturers as a cost option
