Our view is that during 5 years of ownership our old Fiat would have cost 5 x £300 insurance, 5 x £300 service and likely breakdowns repairs and another £200 tyres. All this expenditure is now borne by Motability. Add to that the running cost reduction likely for the Ioniq (although the Fiat was exceptionally frugal!). And, probably more importantly, having the reliability of a new car. That’s priceless.
