Intranicity, you make some valid points and I agree with your logic but choosing a car is an emotive thing as well, if AP isn’t a problem. I hope I agree with you after enjoying my next few weeks searching and researching because you make good financial sense. I’ve started physically looking two months before I’m due to order a new vehicle to allow time for that battle of attraction, emotion and common sense to take place. One immediate negative that I’ve found with the EV6 is the standard of audio. I’m a lifelong music fan and have always had a quality stereo in my cars. The Kia only has a basic six speaker audio in the Sports-Line and it is only the Sports-Line S (which is not available on Motability) that has an Hifi set up with a 14 speaker Meridian system. There is no option to upgrade to the Meridian audio. I have another four cars (at least) to check out, so if you guys are interested I’ll keep you posted. Hyundai Ionic 5, and 6. Ford Mustang Mach-E. BMW i4. I will also return to the CX60 Takumi at least a couple of times over the next couple of months to use it as my quality benchmark. If any of you live within a 25 mile radius of Kempsey near Upton on Severn I can highly recommend Edwards Garage for both Mazda and Kia. Their Motability (Mazda) guy is a genuinely nice and efficient guy called Jo. The whole staff are warm and welcoming to Motability customers.

If you’re looking for comfort, the Mustang without doubt had the nicest seats of all of those on your list. I sat in the more expensive Mustang and it was nowhere near as comfortable as the one on the list. My wife agreed too, saying it was one of the most comfortable cars she’s ever sat in.
