As for what Motability pay it would indeed be very interesting to know.
The prices are negotiated not only by model but by trim line. I have some historical figures and it’s a complex process. On the info I have the discounts vary from 16% up to 23%.
If we take a £50k car and use the 23% discount as a minimum based on todays figure’s and then remove the VAT @20% – the £50k vehicle becomes £32,083!
Lets say the AP is £5k plus sacrified benifits (£11076) £15076
15076/32083×100= 47% you are paying to the value of the vehicle at what Mb pay.
Mb then sell it for ?
