Good to see the Mazda MX-5 making a comeback onto the scheme. I wanted one when it was last on the scheme a few years ago – but due to needing the space for carrying my partner’s mother’s wheelchair around, I opted for a Toyota CH-R instead at the time (great car BTW). Her mother passed away sadly during Covid… but now I need extra space for my own mum who’s elderly & has the onset of dementia. I am due to order in January when the next quarter list is announced. Sadly, once again, it would seem that the MX-5 will have to be chalked off of my list of suitable candidates. Some things just aren’t meant to be it would seem. On the plus side ; the new top-of-the-range Renault Clio looks great value at £495. I am waiting for Peugeot to issue details of the updated 208 GT later this month. I have the current model and have loved every day in it. The 308 GT looks fantastic value to with a very low AP. The only problem with that car (Joss?) is that it doesn’t have heated front seats and you cannot, apparently, add them as an option. Heated seats are a simple must have for me & my hips/legs due to polio. Finally ; where has the new Puma ST automatic gone? I can’t find it on Motability’s or Ford’s website!

Solent I will be test driving the top of the range Clio this month I like it in blue you get a lot of equipment and those fab seats for £495 was £895 !
