Are you the only driver for the car?
If not the other person could go out when they arrive with the 5m cable in the boot ? and leave you the shorter cable to hide indoors jst in case, though I doubt they will be bothered about the charging cable anyway. You could even ask them to leave the new one saying the manufacturer one you find too short as you never got a longer one when the Easee charger was installed. I’m sure you get my drift ?
