I’m a member of you.gov survey poll and this morning I had one of the regular surveys. At the end, they ask the questions of the day and, naturally, it was on the Net zero changes. Once you have answered, you are locked in and can see the current result. At present, 50% strongly support or support the extension of the date end of ICE whilst 33% oppose and 17% undecided.
Very interesting and doesn’t surprise me at all. With the Conservatives languishing in the polls, the fact that only one-third of people oppose it (when some will oppose anything the government does purely on principle) means that a lot of floating voters and even die hard Labour voters are supporting the changes.
