Thrush is the infrastructure simply isn’t there and it was ludicrous to suggest it ever would be either I fear even 2035 is too soon but we shall see I hope that common sense now will prevail and alternatives to electric are given the time they need,synthetic fuels,hydrogen etc rather than the heavy pollution of a new EV.
But we shall see I just changed to a Kuga hybrid and very happy with it to I was asked did I fancy going full EV and simply no because unless you have your own driveway you are stuffed I live in a new town so far there are about a dozen charge-points or so so no it was never going to be an option for me,who knows in 10/12 years or so it may be but the infrastructure has to be there and I don’t think this government has the gumption to carry it through.
