Backing up Andy’s post, I’ve just finished reading an article in the Guardian which states it expects a government announcement ,within days ,that the date will be pushed back until 2035.
Just read a Reuters article and put a new thread up. With the EU’s 2035 ban, it made little sense for us not to follow it regardles of whether we were in or out of the EU, given most cars are are imported from the EU anyway! It will also give both sides time to meet the 40% origin, unless it gets scrapped.
