<p style=”text-align: left;”>I have to say I am the driver carer and my wife a non driver recipient and our agreement is that whatever I do with the car is to her benefit otherwise why would we after 40 years still be married so if she wants to send me out volunteering for the Red Cross (for example) so she can get some rest from my incessant caring who am I to argue on occasion she has insisted I attend an air show and motor racing which I have done reluctantly and without argument. She rarely complains when I polish the car either or get the shopping on a Monday morning so it all works fine.</p>
Exactly Windy. Common sense needs to prevail at times. There is enough blatant abuse of the Motability scheme for them to go after, without wondering about where the spouse of the recipient happens to be going!
