After my awful experience at the Mazda dealer yesterday, I looked at a few more cars namely the Ford Mustang, Skoda Enyaq and BMW i4. I was almost certain that I would be ordering the i4 until I sat in the Skoda.
Don’t get me wrong, the i4 is fantastic but it’s almost exactly the same as my 3 series which again is fantastic but with my back problems I’m finding it more and more difficult to get in and out of. Being taller, the Skoda was very easy in this aspect and I’m now starting to think whether it makes more sense. When I spoke to the dealer, he was quoting around 5 months for a factory order. I would be looking at the advanced package and 21″ wheels. I liked the red colour, but there’s no way I’m paying over £1000 just for paint. I would have paid the difference but that’s not an option with Skoda.
I need to book a test drive now.
