Both Sportline versions now showing on Motability’s car search.

      Sportline 80 – ÂŁ2,999

      Sportline 80x – ÂŁ3,299

Think I’ll be off to my Skoda dealer this morning to order the 80x with the Advanced pack, absolute bargain at ÂŁ5033 and of course less the ÂŁ750 NCP and ÂŁ250 GCB from the current car.

Does anyone know which paints are free or what prices they are? would quite like a red one 🙂

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

I don’t get the paint thing, Ford also have colours that are not standard but you can pay for it yourself. I’m assuming Skoda is the same.

The standard metallic are a free upgrade but not special colours on both manufacturers

We’re you expecting a discount off the price?

race blue us stunning, and, with all the chrome being black, the pearl effect Black magic colour would also be awesome, the Arctic blue which changes colour, sometimes blue, sometimes silver sometimes green uis great too, but suits the non sportline versions more.

I’m thinking if going for the sunroof and race blue, I think that the cost of the heat pump I wouldn’t get a return in three years.

          Regarding discount

Motability used to pay for metalic and if you went for special paint you only paid the difference above the cost of metalic.

i am suprised at that with skoda, i was considering the karoq and its “special” colour is a georgeous orange same price as the red and all i was told i would have to pay was the difference.

in the end i went for the juke hybrid mainly due to mpg the karoq wasnt any better than the countryman i had whereas i am getting almost 60 with the juke.

Thanks to this forum I cancelled my order for a Tiguan R-line edition and ordered the Enyaq sport line plus 80x in graphite grey on Thursday. Didn’t order any extras as the car is very well equipped in this trim. As others have reported, I’ve been told by dealers system is reporting 14 week lead time.

Combustion engine cars a year plus as recent flooding in Slovenia has hit a parts production factory supplying VAG cars. Looking forward to going electric!

After my awful experience at the Mazda dealer yesterday, I looked at a few more cars namely the Ford Mustang, Skoda Enyaq and BMW i4. I was almost certain that I would be ordering the i4 until I sat in the Skoda.

Don’t get me wrong, the i4 is fantastic but it’s almost exactly the same as my 3 series which again is fantastic but with my back problems I’m finding it more and more difficult to get in and out of. Being taller, the Skoda was very easy in this aspect and I’m now starting to think whether it makes more sense. When I spoke to the dealer, he was quoting around 5 months for a factory order. I would be looking at the advanced package and 21″ wheels. I liked the red colour, but there’s no way I’m paying over ÂŁ1000 just for paint. I would have paid the difference but that’s not an option with Skoda.

I need to book a test drive now.

I found much the same, the i4 seemed to be build to a lower standard, I found the seat material felt very 1980’s !!.

The Enyaq def. has more room in the cabin, there’s a lot more room under the steering wheel than the i4.  I’d query the build time, two of us on here have been told it’s 14 weeks so should be here sometime in January.

I wouldn’t say the i4 was built to a lower standard. I would say the plastics on the i4 were of a better standard than the Enyaq. The seats were bigger and being taller the Enyaq is easier on my back. The annoying thing for me is how you have to add an expensive pack to get the Enyaq to the spec I want.

I’m shocked it doesn’t have “park” and you have to apply the auto brake, unlike the id’s?

I agree and it’s the only thing that is holding us back from putting in an order now…we’re going to hold tight for a few weeks to see if the new price list provides any opportunities with other cars we’ve looked at.

I have a copy of the Enyaq owners manual.

The parking brake can be manually applied. In the manual ut states:

“Pull on the park brake utton and hold it.

The indicator light A in the switch and with PARK light up together in the instrument cluster.

Switching on automatically The parking brake turns on automatically after turning off the ignition.”

So, no different to both our Superb and Range Rovet, with just putting into park on an auto transmission being the difference.

I wouldn’t say the packsxare expensive, no more so than many other brands, plus the Sportlibe us very well Specced.

The base models have the specs they do to meet the governments tax reduction, don’t forget, most sales go to businesses not private individuals

I also thought the Enyaq 80 Suite with just the clever pack at ÂŁ5645 was overpriced.

However, the current Enyaq 80 Sportline Plus offer at ÂŁ3299 gets both the clever and plus packs included and is a bargain compared to the VW iD4 and Audi Q4 e-tron at ÂŁ5999 each.

I’ve already paid the ÂŁ2035 for the Advanced pack upgrade but as the car isn’t built yet I should be able to transfer that to a new order I would think?.The upgrades for the ME4.0 are quite substantial

The upgrades for the ME4.0 were listed for the L&K  Skoda release back in May,

Like the Enyaq L&K, all future Enyaq models running the new software version will feature an improved User Interface. This further enhances ease of use and optimises the customer experience in the vehicle. The User Interface reflects the new Škoda CI, and the brand’s new colours are also used in the infotainment menu, the Virtual Cockpit and the head-up display. On top of that, Škoda Auto has also revised the entire menu structure of the infotainment system. It now comes with three basic buttons displayed in three corners of the screen. Tapping the icon in the top left provides access to the vehicle settings, while apps are available in the bottom right corner. A tap in the bottom left corner takes the driver to the redesigned home screen. It offers five usable pages with three fixed layouts, the contents can be customised. The favourite buttons for quick access to certain functions have also been improved. Drivers can configure up to five favourite shortcuts to control vehicle functions – like the Lane Assist, the windscreen heating or the air recirculation function.

The ME4 vehicle software also brings new navigation maps to the Enyaq family. They offer re-positioned navigation submenus and a larger map section. The control menu for the vehicle’s air conditioning system has been simplified, the simplified overview page makes for even more intuitive operation. New graphics now give an even better overview of the battery level and the vehicle’s charging options. The redesigned Virtual Cockpit and head-up display now also reflect the new Škoda CI and offer as enhanced functions.

The puddle light on the front doors is new, the LED spotlights in the door mirrors now project a “Welcome” logo rather than Škoda lettering onto the ground. Those exiting the Enyaq L&K can enjoy a new feature of the Kessy keyless vehicle access system. It now automatically locks the doors when the owner moves away from the vehicle with the radio transmitter. The locked door status is confirmed with an acoustic signal from the alarm system’s horn.

I joined a Facebook “Skoda  Enyaq” group but can’t see any mention of it, there are at least 3 groups, Enyaq, Enyaq UK and IRL and Enyaq & Enyaq Coupe, is it one of those groups you found the posting in?

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

My theory is, if the car is built in week 44 and after, then you get a MY24? I can’t see us getting a build slot before that so early on when ordering last week?
