My question: Does anyone know why an MOT cannot be done on the handback day?
1 – it may be beyond the 3yr limit before your new car arrives
2 – If your vehicle failed its MOT, you would have to delay collection of your new vehicle
3 – Motability want to have their paperwork in order (your file) prior to handover day
