I think you have pretty much covered it all there @Kezo. But if @Oscarmax could either confirm if he is on FTTC (Fiber to the cabinate) or FTTP ( Fibre to the premises) would help us.
However. BT is not the best ISP for anything, Period. Oscarmax where do you live? This would help me suggest better FTTP isps.
