According to both the Ford Kuga and Toyota forums both the hybrid and PHEV record excellent 55 + mpg in hybrid mode only, I cannot really justify the high AP for both the Suzuki Across and Mazda CX-60, financially over a 3/5 year lease you would be better of with a petrol vehicle.

As regards the Suzuki Across and Mazda CX-60 I don’t think there is much to chose between them it comes down to personnel choice, Toyota who manufacture the Across have a proven background in hybrid technology, this is Mazda first hybrid/PHEV.

On Tuesday we had to open the window just to check the vehicle was running in ICE mode it was that quiet, it run seamlessly between ICE and hybrid mode when the battery is empty, as regards the e-CVT transmission is feel and drives like any good quality automatic transmission.

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
