This advice might be a bit late (apologies), but none of you should be paying full retail price on any optional extras. Dealers have a big margin on them and a discount should be easily achieved. I got 15% discount on the options for our X1 and didn’t even have to ask for it and that was on top of a £500 discount off the AP. I doubt that AP discounts will be achievable now, but some discount on the options should still be on the table.
