I’ve had my HS Exclusive DCT since march and it’s one of the most comfortable cars I’ve ever had. I suffer with spinal issues and this week drove from Manchester to Hemel Hempstead in one hit. That’s 3.5 hours and 177 miles without a single twinge in my back. My previous car, a Tiguan R-Line would have been a very different experience. Average MPG was 43.5 which I think is pretty good.
It’s been 100% reliable with not a single problem and handles pretty well. It’s also rapid if you stick it in sport mode.
If it does have issues, they’re all related to the infotainment system. It’s very laggy and the DAB radio issues are well documented but not an issue if you use Apple carplay. There are also numerous little niggles but you quickly get used to them, even the fact that the air con controls are on the screen which is really annoying at first.
For the AP, imho, it’s unbeatable.
