I have just taken delivery of a new car through the Motability Scheme. I have however kept my old car that I received free Road Tax on. Am I still entitled to get this free road tax or do I have to pay for it when it is due for renewal. I get the enhanced rate of the mobity component of my PIP. Cicatrix
You are only allowed free road tax on one vehicle. If you old car has an higher tax bracket you can tell Motability you wish to pay for the RFL on your new car and apply the free ax to your old car at the post office by requesting a V10 form.
