Even with an EV you still have road and wind noise, not disimilar from an ICE nou under hard acceleration. As usuall some cars are better than others mate.
I test drove the Audi q4 e tron and I could still here some road noise in that, although mostly ushed as it as acoustic glass but the tight arses couldn’t be bothered to include rear USB sockets lol.
