when the i3 first came on the scheme i asked and the said yes but that normally its only if theres a manual version of the car,i think it was the only electric back then.
however ive just had a grant for the juke hybrid and could have had one for the kona.
so i suspect its open to all now as more manufacturers switch to electric and there are no manuals in the range.
i would say best ring to be sure.
