I’m still no further forward in my search, Kuga or Mazda cx5 are still top of the list but the new Mazda mhev engine still has pretty poor fuel economy. Looks like I’m waiting until q4 to see if the my24 Kuga appears (or another option I haven’t seen yet!)

I haven’t discounted the Reno Austral, but looking at a Spanish review truing to keep up with the subtitles – there saying there at least a 2 second delay bfore the car responds to throtle response if say overtaking, which matches other reviews. I will still book a test drive though to judge myself.
If the Sportage GT line s or Nissans E-power in Tecna spec joined my choice would be betweeb one of them. I love the Mazda cx-60 PHEV but at £6k for the basic spec in my heart is too much to pay on the scheme ontop of sacrified benifits!
