Morning, I assume your still content carrying on with your order, now you are armed with the latest information?
I believe the Rav4 is having multimedia and safety upgrades according to Toyota magazine (link below) so the refresh is not soley limited to a digital dash, which would be neither here or there. Worth ringing the dealer to see if yours has the upgrade or request the refreshed model if your not in a rush and it bothers you!
You would think the refresh model would be ready for the Septembers new reg rather than orders! The other uestion is if the refresh is initially for the Rav4 with the Across coming at a later date!
