I’ve signed an order form for every single motability car I’ve ordered.
Or they won’t order it.
Just cancelled an order , car was built, already in UK but not at dealer yet.
Dealer wasn’t best pleased. He wanted paying for optional extras when I placed the order but forgot to charge me before I left.
First thing he said was “there are charges”.
In the end the dealer didn’t charge me but said they wouldn’t take another order unless I paid for extras upfront.
Luckily the replacement order I didn’t want extras.
Be careful as you could get into a legal battle if ordering options as technically , under consumer law, adding extras makes it a special order item and thus certain rights go out the window.
