i will probably go electric next time and i am in the same boat, housing assoc wont allow charger plus i am on road parking at least 10 metres away so would need a very long lead anyway. but even with a 20 mile return commute each day i could get away with one charge a week with a decent range car. so it is workable.
i would just charge once a week at the gym when i go ffor physio.
