Has anyone thought that for disabled EV Cars are not user friendly first there is the fact that most chargers are not under cover like petrol forecourts which to be honest is a no brainer when it comes to electricity no thought in that process. And also the charger space has to be good for wheelchair users ie:no obstacles which was pointed out kerbs in the way, and with the weight of the charger plug which my friend struggles with. Now petrol forecourt I have to have an attendant fill my car with petrol which many know can be a pain but My local garage is good in this and shell and others have apps for this. Also it was pointed out to me that Electric Cars were thought of even before the good old combustion engine and it was found to be impracticable but that was before new batteries of today but it still points true in that there is little infrastructure still as said above no covers over chargers. And now more news that ford boss says that electric is no good and they are going the Hydrogen route as is some other Manufacturers as is VW cutting two models due to lack of orders. I really think that the problem lies that long journeys it can be very stressful and for some disabled unworkable.
