I was hoping the X-Trail would join the scheme in Tekna trim tomorrow but if rumours on another Motability social media page are correct, it seems like there is zero chance of that happening as, the word is the Qashqai Tekna is being removed due to problems with the supply of parts. If this is correct, and I have no reason to doubt it(but could be wrong!), it would make sense that the same issue would apply to the x-Trail Tekna.
My search for my next car has resulted in conversations with several dealerships, yesterday it was Hyundai. Unfortunately, the dealer I spoke to informed me that the Tucson 1.6 TGDi 48v MHD, the mild hybrid version, can no longer be ordered as Hyundai are stopping building them. It is still listed on the Motability website but the dealer said, they just haven’t updated it yet.
Has anyone else heard this?
