After having an MG5 as a company car, I certainly wouldn’t pay £4k for one.
Considering for the same money you could have a top of the range Nero, lowest spec (on offer) ID4, you could have the 58kWh Enyaq and keep nearly a grand or spend £300 more and get the 88kWh version, yeah, that’s entirely the wrong price point for the MG5. It’s a big, budget estate that’s sold as a big estate EV.
There’s comment on some Facebook groups that VW are increasing some APs again, although that coincides with dealers trying to close their monthly and quarterly books, so I’m keeping that in mind. MG seem to be going big and reducing prices.
I’m hoping that tomorrow proves to be a good day for previews, especially if there’s something popular coming back or new to scheme.
