I had a similar thing on my previous car, went in for its first MOT and had an advisory on the front brake pads and the dealer wanted to renew them at £400 + but Motability declined because I had a new car on order.
New car was longer than expected for delivery so my car went in for its second MOT and they instantly failed it on the brake pads so no choice but to renew them and no saving for Motability.
