Indeed. When 2 screens go wrong, it could be another issue.
My Peuguot 2008 done the same thing. The instrument panel went went opaque it was like the surface had melted. It is the icockpit screen.
It was replaced under warranty, and yet the new one has now developed the same problem at the bottom. If you touch the affected area it spreads it. I reckon Peuguot had used alternative materials – the car was built during lockdown.
