It would be really interesting if MB did a comparison to what our leases would cost if they paid full retail price.
Although absolutely nobody pays full retail price for the sort of cars we get on Motability! Even a private individual taking out a PCP has a discount built into the deal, and that’s before they start negotiating!
Given that Motability are one of the biggest fleet buyers in the U.K. and also benefit from full VAT exemption, I should imagine that the average discount achieved against full retail price is probably around 40%.
