MB negotiate prices even lower than fleet buyers and thus dealers and manufacturers have an incentive to sell as much as they can to retail and then fleet before fulfilling MB orders.
It isn’t discrimination, it’s just business. If you made any product and one customer was willing to pay you 20% more than the next customer for your product, who would you look after first. Unfortunately for us we are currently in a sellers market.
It would be really interesting if MB did a comparison to what our leases would cost if they paid full retail price.
