That is really poor of Motability Gordon, I know a lot of England rarely sees snow, but up in the Cairngorms its pretty typical weather in winter, Braemar doesn’t get the coldest town in the UK moniker for being a balmy hotspot. And you can’t just avoid it by staying in, especially if you need to go to work. My employer docks a days holiday for every snow day you take. Some years that would be 20-30 days & I only live on the fringe of the Cairngorms.
That’s also why its irritating that you can’t specify all-season tyres at tyre replacement, no extra cost to Motability & a revelation in handling in the snow/very cold winter compared to summer tyres. Its a real safety issue.
