I presume that this is for new cars only? It’s a shame that they don’t do a scheme for cars returned early before lease end, just as many company car schemes do.
So much this! Honestly even low mileage 3 year old cars could work.
I think you would need to have a good look at the maths agains’t leasing an already 3 year old car for another 3 years against buying off the scheme. Especially if you have to sacrifice your full award amount. Bringing back some form of HP on low mileage 3 year old cars may also be a good idea.
I wasn’t meaning 3 year old cars, I was meaning cars returned early. They get a lot of early surrenders of cars that may be as little as a year old or less, due to people not getting on with the car, disability needs changing or even losing PIP. These cars are all sent to auction, which is daft when there are people waiting 6 months for the same car who would bite their hand off!
