Im running the 17s and the ride isnt too harsh, road noise is a bit loud on rough motorways. I prefer them on my all-black mini and they show the big red Brembo brakes well. but its a free option, it makes sense that the 17s would ride a little nicer but the 18s have a more premium look to them. Personal taste I think!

As for the running in procedure the only thing I can remember from the rep is that that Launch Control is deactivated until the car reaches 2k miles – not that i plan usi by that much ?
