Why assume someone is not in work due to claiming motability benefits.
I think the scheme needs as many options as possible to accommodate the needs of as many different people as possible, this is across vehicle types, sizes as well as costs.
Disability is so varied that we all have different needs (as well as wants). So the scheme needs to cater for all. Whether is currently does or not is another question.
The way I look at it is if you split the AP over 36 months and add the the benefits forfeited, the question becomes would you spend £550 a month on an Audi Q4. If it is the car you want and this is the cheapest way for you to do so, they why not.
