I’m not sure if I’m more surprised by you thinking the dealer would help you jump the queue or that you’re willing to pay a whopping AP for a mediocre Peugeot. I’ll bet a quid that the car has been sold retail.
Think you misunderstood. I’ve not asked anyone to help me queue jump, the car was ordered by someone else and then cancelled. It was being shipped to the UK and was available to buy, so I bought it. After agreeing the price, going down to the dealership to sign the paperwork and waiting a month for delivery, the car has now magically disappeared just 4 days before collection. Like you say probably sold retail (you could say somebody else has technically jumped the queue).
Did you not get on with the 300GT? I’d like to have done some more test driving but there’s not masses of choice for SUVs, particularly with current stock levels :/
