Not necessarily. My county council has rejected my Mother’s ability to reapply for a Blue Badge as she received 12 points for Planning and Following. Under their new criteria, it states that she must receive 10 points for ‘Can not undertake a journey as it would cause overwhelming psychological distress to the claimant’ so she has had to apply under ‘hidden disabilities’.
