If you were to order a car now, you would have to have someone as a named driver at the time of ordering as the dealer would need evidence of somebody with a license, Once you past your test it’s easy for you to become the named driver.
I would take the free 40 lessons and top up an extra hour if really needed out of your own money. It would work out cheaper for you doing it this way.
Depending on the vehicle you want and the choice available if your lucky enough to be under 25, deliver can be 12 months or more as Adrian suggests. Something to think about is, do you order the car now and hope you have passed your test by the time the car is delivered, or do you pass your test first and then order and wait however long for the car to arrive 🙂
