I’ve had this twice with this company, 1st time was in a car park with free disabled parking but I couldn’t get in a disabled bay as they were having some work done and all the bays had work vans in them, 2nd time was for a car I no longer had.
Both times I just ignored all letters, the first said I could get reduced fee if I paid it straight away, then after 3 like that it was from a solicitor saying the same but the fee had increased, the next threatened an escalation to a barrister, then came a letter from a barrister in London saying the same and how if I paid now I would get a discount otherwise it would be escalated to court.
The 2nd and last letter threatened court again but with a higher fee again and a one time offer of a reduction if paid within 7 days.
That was the last I heard from them, I checked on who the barrister was and turned out he was used by several parking companies to send threatening letters but nothing ever came of them.
it’s been 7 years since the last one so I’m safe.
