Based on April’s rates, the higher spec model on a 3yr lease would cost £19149 or £532 a month. A 5yr lease would cost £26585 or £443 a month. Take a grand off for the lower spec models or £504 a month for 3yrs or £426 a month for 5yrs. Thats alot of money, infact eye watering and nothing to show for it at the end!
Yes and that, of course, is the problem with all Motability cars now. Even with a low AP, the outlay is now huge and the PIP benefits would go a long way towards a private purchase. I’ve just watched the YouTube reviews that you posted (thanks). I was struck by the fact that in several areas they describe it as being “almost as good as a BMW”. We might be tempted to take the money and run and get another proper BMW (or a Porsche if my wife has her way) ? Thankfully we have a year before we need to start making some decisions and we are quite happy with our current BMW until then.
