The id5 works out at £18,076 over 3yrs taking into account Aprils 10.1% increase and not further increases. For me £2k AP plus monthly payments is too much to spend when I’m not going to get anything in return after 3years.
I wouldn’t lease off the scheme, favouring privately buying a new or nearly new vehicle. Even if I only wanted to pay £18k for a new car and kept it 3yrs. I’d get at least half the price back at worst depreciation and taking into account insurance, a service and MOT. Of caurse you got to have the finances to do so.
What doesn’t help in my case is the fact, its becoming harder to find a car that suits my needs on the and how cross overs and small SUV’s are classed as large vehicles.
