We are in the process of ordering an ariya and the choice of colours is restricted to gun metal or green, so it would seem there is some restriction on which paint finish you can choose.
If we had chosen any of the creamic or two tone there would be a sizable cost on top of the AP for wanting non standard colours other than those two, but i think Nissan are not alone in applying additional cost for colours that are not standard to MB
