Virtually all MPV’s are as you describe, no load lip and deep boot opening to avoid lifting high up. So, in the same-ish size bracket of the C-Max you have:
Renault Grand Scenic, Citroen C4 Spacetourer & C4 Grand Spacetourer (Picasso), VW Touran, VW Golf SV, Vauxhall Combo Life, Citroen Berlingo, Peugeot Rifter, Ford Tourneo, BMW 2 Gran Tourer and a few others. Sadly this class of vehicle was decimated by the rise of the SUV, but 70 plate cars should be readily available.
I missed out the MB B Class – it has a high load lip and small boot…Dacia Jogger also has a load lip, but a big boot…might be worth a look.
