As everything used to work, I would replace the cables. Obviously concentrate on the connection at the aerial. There’s a balun there – look for corrosion.. Screw-on f-plugs are fine, but wrap them in self amalgamating tape externally. . Internally I use shrink wrap tube over connectors.
