    The main difference between IPS and VA Is In Plane Switching has a wider viewing angle and a lower contrast ratio and a fraction better colours. A Vertical alignment panel has a narrower viewing angles, and a higher contrast ratio/better blacks.

    I doubt you or others have even heard of them and I question whether the likes of giant retail stores would either. My preference would be VA if I’m totally.

    Have a read here at the full differences and decide as I’m happy to go back to the drawing board as there are other TV’s out there that are decent for how much you want to spend. Its an American site so there tv reviews are different to what we have here but this article is good and easy to understand.
