I will have to find out exactly what this ‘PIN’ is and what it is for. As for looking the car over; I am the one who will be both spec-ing and driving the thing, so I can go down to the dealer and okay it for the PIN to be entered there. It’s more the formalities of paperwork etc. surely there is an option where I can collect paperwork and bring it home and then return it?? Or post both ways?? Or is it all electronic signatures and the like? I will ring MB this afternoon or tomorrow and get the full breakdown of processes to see what can be figured. I’d like to think there is no way that they can have zero provision for a decent section of their user base, but nothing surprises me these days.
