The dealer most probably telling the truth about the plate. Like my Citroen dealer couldn’t pick my plate for me like my previous cars as I wanted CE again but had to have CF.
And they weren’t lying as I’ve looked at plates online which the end letter was different and my reg sits between a Renault and a Seat.
