Kezo what does calibrated mean I’ve heard it mentioned a lot do people pay to have this done ?

Its not something normal people would do but  its common on expensive TV’s or for snobs that have 85″ or more TV’s in dedicated theatre rooms in their home, so not really something the average Joe would do. It costs £200 – £300 upwards depending on the TV.

The benifit for me is ou can see the make up of the pixels, colour unifomity, contrast and total nit in SDR and HDR of a set before calbration and after. This has the advantage of before calibration of gauging the overall performance of the set from the factory so I can help you to the best I can, and of course Panasonic would want you to check the uniformity of any screen replacements through basic level calibration.

Its not something tou should worry about or  think of having done.

I love to watch tv reviews on YouTube but they are obsessed with gaming I’m 56 and gone by that stage just want for tv and movies

Yes I understand it all seems about the best tv for gaming and of course it bares no comparrison to normal TV watching, which is what a TV is for. I’ll try and dig out any video’s showing SDR HDR tv content if you let me know what takes your fancy. Yu could even look for the previous years models as normally their isn’t a vast difference in the LCD world.
